NASA exploring the artic.

NASA is going to lauch 17 missons to examine the solar ice caps and how they have changed. I feel this is a great iidea and it will show all of the terrible things we are doing to the earth. It will help bring more people to belive in global warming.witch we need to stop poluting and start using alterative fuels. I feel we should use corn instead of fossil fuels it is better for the earth and it is natural and cost less monney to get to.when these reports get back in a few months then everyone will see whats happening and you wont be able to deny it. It was very smart of NASA to choose such a perfect time to launch these missions. I am in full support in theses missions and I hope they bring back great data.

Change we NEED to believe in

In David Warlicks "Teachers Shock" he mentioned so many great points about my generation and the way we learn. Hes right Ill never no what its like to watch "The Golden Age " of T.V. and frankly I have no idea what "Rawhide "is and I have no idea what its about, Ill never no what its like to only use the internet to get information, Ill never no whats its like not to be able to talk to friends instantly weather its a phone or Facebook. So if our generations are so different why are they trying to teach us the same way? I think this is happening because teacher don't no any other way. I cant tell you how many times a teacher has told me or my class "Well that's how I learned it, so you can learn it this way to". That's the problem because we wont learn the same way as our teachers did and our children will learn it different than we learned it. To fix this I think we need to let teacher try to find there own way of doing things and try and not do what there teachers did. They need to find fun ways to get us interested in school and willing to learn.If all teachers taught how there teachers did we wouldn't be advancing we would be stuck in the same place. But it is not only teachers who need to change it is also the students, David mentioned how students need to value there education more and I 100% agree. I have skipped a home work assignment just because I didn't want to do it and after reading this blog I realized how stupid that is and how I need to value my education so much more. So if my generation is going to lead this country some day than don't we have to keep advancing so my generation and I keep this country so great. If my generation loses interest in there education than we will lose our status as a "Super Power". So the question is why haven't we been changing and adapting? I don't no the answer but I do no that we do need to make alot of changes fast. believe

how the internet is adapting

The video "The Machines are Using Us" made me re-think the way I think about the internet. How we have to adapt because it is evolving so quickly and changing so often. We need to re-think authenticity because if we don't we will have many people fighting over who put what on the internet. When the internet was first started it was for sharing information only but it has changed, it is no longer just sharing information it is linking people. People are doing thing that we thought impossible, we are trading stock,talking to people half way around the world, and even things like online dating. The internet is changing so quickly that we haven't adjust things that need to be adjusted such as security, bad people hack into peoples computers everyday and steal valuable information. Also there are very bad people who try to trick kids into meeting them so they can kidnap them. These are just some things that I have noticed while watching this video.
